We've launched our manifesto for a bold plan for a better Mole Valley.
Never have we been in such need of strong leadership. There are many challenges facing us and after 5 years of Liberal Democrat control at the district council, the Mole Valley Conservatives have pulled their socks up and are focused on delivering robust and well thoughts out solutions for this area working together and returning firmly to our core values.
The Liberal Democrat councillors cannot seem to deliver for their residents and whilst they are exceeding good at pushing pieces of paper through letterboxes which mislead residents, they fail to form strong plans to take us forward.
We have solutions and plans. Local government needs to work with the utility companies to set out upgrade plans and be clear on prioritisation. We need to work to not only get affordable homes in the right places - brownfield wherever possible - but also to use developer funding to sort out the congestion problems on our roads. We must invest in our voluntary groups and recognise that by supporting them we save public money in the long-term. And much more. Your local Conservatives are focused on delivering for you and giving you the strongest voice at local level.
