Tim Hall is the County Councillor for Leatherhead & Fetcham East, Deputy Chairman Political of Dorking & Horley Conservative Association, Chairman of Surrey County Council, having been the long term County Council Planning Committee Chairman. He previously served in the Cabinet and chaired Select and Local Committees.

He is a school governor at two local schools in his division of Leatherhead and Fetcham East, Fetcham Village Infants School and Leatherhead Trinity School. Alongside this, he serves as a Trustee of Fetcham United Charities and Fetcham Village Hall, Director of Leatherhead Youth Project and member of Leatherhead Methodist Church. Tim is a founder volunteer with Leatherhead Foodbank and President of Fetcham Residents Association, and he sits on the Norbury Park Community Forum. 

Tim served as a member of Mole Valley District Council from 1998 to 2010 representing Fetcham West, and served as its Leader between 2003 and 2008, and its Chairman from 2009 to 2010.
