Michelle Watson: A community champion with a record of action for Holmwoods and Beare Green

We’re thrilled to announce that local champion Michelle Watson is our Conservative candidate in the Holmwoods and Beare Green by-election on Thursday 20th March.

Michelle is a true community champion, and served as Mole Valley District Councillor for Beare Green between 2015 and 2019. She lives locally in Anstiebury Close, Beare Green with her husband Brendan and their dogs Bailey and Mia.

Her campaigning has helped secure road safety improvements on the A24 between North Holmwood and Beare Green, improved pavements for residents in Beare Green, and delivered an additional defibrillator in Beare Green village itself. She opposed Lib Dem West Street pedestrianisation plans and is holding Clarion to account for their failure to ensure decent social housing in Mole Valley.

With the Lib Dems, residents get Councillors who toe the party line, ignore residents' concerns and support vanity projects which will make Mole Valley District Council bankrupt by 2027. A vote for Michelle is not just a casting of a ballot and a message that you cannot be taken for granted, it will support a dedicated Councillor with a record of action.

On Thursday 20 March, support community champion Michelle Watson and elect her as your District Councillor for Holmwoods and Beare Green.
