What are we going to do to tackle flooding? How will we prepare for the increase in droughts and the threat of wildfires? How are we working with the utility companies on issues like sewage and water shortages?
Marisa Heath has launched as Surrey County Council Cabinet Member for Environment, the Surrey Climate Adaptation Plan to ensure we are all working in partnership to tackle these issues and provide a resilient Surrey that is prepared for changing weather systems.
The plan's goal is to adapt to a world 2°C warmer and preparing for scenarios up to +4°C, for long lived infrastructure and long-term decision making.
