Taylor in Horley High Street

Our town centres are incredibly important. And it’s concerning to see the closure of a number of shops in recent months.

Local Conservative Taylor O’Driscoll believes that more can be done to support Horley's high street. He has some ideas on what we can do to improve the town centre. But there are some quick wins we can do now.

If every person in Horley spent £5 per week at a local shop, that would be worth over £7million to our town. And that’s before we consider the social and cultural benefits to our community.

Taylor says we should all support local businesses.

He says, “In order to keep our high street upright, we must support local shops. If we don’t use them, we lose them. Even spending £5 helps deliver more jobs, nicer facilities and a better place to live.

“Please send me your ideas to improve our high street and let’s all work together to keep local business in business.”
