Our speaker is Lincoln Jopp, MC MP for Spelthorne, who has represented Spelthorne since July 2024. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished career in the British Army, where he served in multiple conflict zones, including Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan. In recognition of his bravery, he was awarded the Military Cross for his gallant and distinguished service during the Sierra Leone conflict in May-June 1997. He also commanded the Scots Guards in Afghanistan during the summer of 2010, earning the Queen’s Commendation for Valuable Service.After retiring from the military, Lincoln transitioned to civilian life, becoming the Direct and Chief Operating Officer of The Pension Superfund.
